Julia Roberts, recently talked about her age and why she looks older than many contemporary artists who want to keep looking young.

“I am aging with dignity, humor, and serenity..

I don't resort to lifting or Botox and I know by Hollywood standards I'm risking my career. If they don't want to give me a role because I look old, it means I produce the project and I choose who I want. The important thing is not to take this job too seriously.

I know a lot of moms struggling to make ends meet: those are the serious problems, those are the women I admire, who are beautiful and good even when everything is hard. Honestly, I have other fears...

I fear for my children, that I cannot protect them from anyone who wants to take advantage of them.. It's more important for me to be well and make my family live well..

I'm blessed and I appreciate all that I have!. I’m thankful for my husband and kids everyday. For this reason, for me the most important moments of the day are never the ones I spend on set, but the ones I have at breakfast because we talk about everything...

It's a magical moment. "

How beautiful it is to be planted in the Earth and live it to the fullest without the frivolity of marketing.

We are valuable because of who we are, not how we look!!!.

The Mackinac Bridge

The Mackinac Bridge is a suspension bridge that spans the Straits of Mackinac, connecting the Lower Peninsula of Michigan to the Upper Peninsula. It is one of the most iconic landmarks in Michigan and one of the longest suspension bridges in the world, with a total length of 26,372 feet (5 miles). The bridge is a critical transportation link, serving as part of Interstate 75 (I-75), and is often referred to as "Big Mac."

The Mackinac Bridge was completed in 1957 and has become a symbol of Michigan's geography and history. The bridge features two main towers that rise 552 feet above the water, supporting cables that span a distance of 3,800 feet between the towers. The total length of the bridge, including its approach spans, is about 26,000 feet.

The bridge connects the city of St. Ignace in the Upper Peninsula to Mackinaw City in the Lower Peninsula. The Mackinac Bridge Authority manages the bridge, which also has a toll for vehicles crossing from the Lower Peninsula to the Upper Peninsula (though it is free to travel in the opposite direction).

Notable for its stunning views and engineering, the Mackinac Bridge is a vital transportation route, especially for tourists heading to Michigan's Upper Peninsula, as well as for local residents and industries. It's also famous for its annual Mackinac Bridge Walk, where thousands of people cross the bridge on foot, typically on Labor Day.

Gray Wolves

So far this season, 87 Gray Wolves have been killed in Montana. As a keystone species, wolves are vital for maintaining ecological balance. They regulate prey populations, support biodiversity, and even influence vegetation growth.

Not only do the hunts disrupt ecosystems, weaken wolf pack structures, and jeopardize the recovery of these social animals, but wolf hunts have also been shown to be ineffective at reducing livestock depredation.

It’s time to challenge outdated narratives and embrace coexistence through nonlethal deterrents. Wolves are not trophies—they’re essential to the health of our ecosystems.

Join #TeamWolf in advocating for science-based policies and the protection of these incredible animals.

Slow down be alert,

Slow down be alert, save a life it’s rutting season for deer and November and December is their most active months.

Some things to keep in mind when driving -

**Deer are most active from sunset to midnight and shortly before and after sunrise - drive with extra caution at these hours.

**If you see one deer, there are likely more.

**Brake firmly when you see a deer in your path, but stay in your lane. Don't veer. Check fences and take down sporting nets when not in use .

I’m thankful for my bed ♥️

  ·
Yesterday my daughter Grace was packing up to head back to her home after spending Christmas with me and she looked into my bedroom and said, “Do you do that everyday?” I replied, “Do what everyday?” She said, “Make your bed and put all those pillows on there?” I said, “Yes i do.”
“Why, she responded, you are the only one who see’s your bed?”
“Oh dear I make my bed every morning because it’s a gift that I get to open at the end of everyday. A gift that not everyone has. So while I’m wrapping my bed in the morning and I’m unwrapping it at night I’m reminded of what a great blessing my bed really is in my life.”
When we stop viewing what we have as little, insignificant or not enough, then we get to see what we do have as gifts we get to enjoy, great blessings in our lives and provision for our needs.
I’m thankful for my bed ♥️

When my grandmother passed away, my grandfather found himself alone in his house. Every time I visited him, he was by himself and was adamant about not wanting anyone to move in with him. So, I had the idea to give him a little dog I had rescued from the street.

He named the dog 'Chirulin,' and they do everything together: sunbathing, eating, going for walks, and watching TV. A few days ago, my grandfather fell ill, and during his time in the hospital, he wrote me a letter on how to care for 'Chirulin,' in case he didn’t make it out. He even included the recipe for the soup he makes for 'Chirulin.' All I could think about was asking him to write me a recipe for living without him.

He entrusted 'Chirulin' to our whole family. Yesterday, he was discharged, and of course, we brought 'Chirulin' to him. He hugged him tightly and whispered, "We need to hurry and do all those things we still want to do together. There’s not much time," and then he started laughing. Yes, my grandfather made a list of things he wants to do with 'Chirulin,' his loyal friend. Just seeing the way 'Chirulin' looks at him shows how deep their love is for each other.

To those who say it’s just a dog, I say: “Animals are a gift for the soul, a way to learn tolerance, respect, and love. True love doesn’t divide but unites. Loving teaches us how to love.”
